Following the release of their debut EP, “Pretty Good You,” Heavy Early are taking their high energy show on the road with stops in Montreal, Toronto, and Ottawa. The band self released their EP in late September and have spent the time since playing around their home province promoting the new CD. Starting November 14 in Montreal at Brasserie Beaubien, with stops November 16 at Smiling Buddha in Toronto and November 17 at Avant-Garde Bar in Ottawa, Heavy Early is excited share the stage with old friends and to bring these songs to new audiences.
The five track EP, Pretty Good You, was recorded at Echo Chamber in Halifax, Nova Scotia by James O’Toole and Francisco Lopes in the spring of this year. Local grafitti artist PaX? did the album art. The band has self produced three music videos for the songs Wildlife, You Said This Would Be Fun, and most recently, Smoke Break.
Heavy Early have been playing around the maritime provinces since late 2014. These four best friends draw influences from bands such as RVIVR, Latterman, and Chumped.
