[STICKY] PunKanormal BUZZ 003: Frank Dux

Welcome to our third instalment of the Punkanormal Buzz series, where we put the spotlight on a specific band. These [STICKY] articles stay on top of the homepage until one of us at PunKanormal finds a new gem worth getting the mention. This week’s BUZZ goes to Frank Dux – a 4 piece, ripping fast, skatepunk band from Cambridge, Ontario, Canada.

Their debut EP, Parts Unknown, is 6 hard hitting, no holds barred, tracks which offer a variety of sounds. Thanks to their 3 vocalists, who range from sparkling clean to really gruff, to intense yell/screams, this pretty much covers everything I’m looking for!

Although a fairly new band on the scene, Frank Dux has been hitting the road a lot, in the local circuit, around Southern Ontario. I’m sincerely hoping they can break into the Quebec and European skatepunk scenes, where this style of high energy, fast as fuck punk is highly regarded.

If you’re into the likes of Belvedere, Propagandhi, Adrenalized, with a hint of Saves The Day’s vocals, then definitely check these guys out! You can treat your ears to Parts Unknown on the embedded player in this post, all major streaming platforms, and it can also be purchased on their Bandcamp.
